Starting in 2011 Pair O Docs® Professionals is offering constant temperature corrosion stability testing as part or our Beaker-to-Boxcar® line of corrosion testing services.
Two ways our new service can help you with your corrosion testing needs:
We conduct corrosion storage tests at our facilities
We examine containers from your corrosion storage test facilities
What you get when Pair O Docs® examines container samples from your storage tests
A summary of the results for each container corrosion examination
Statistical lifetime modeling of container service lifetime when pitting corrosion is found
A final written report summarizing the findings from the static storage test along with recommendations

Multiple corrosion evaluations on containers stored at ambient and 100 oF (38 oC) temperatures
Static weight loss measurements at ambient temperature
Dynamic weight loss measurements at ambient temperature
Measures weight loss from aerosol valves wetted by the product, and replaces inverted container storage
Container pressures as a function of time for static and dynamic storage at ambient temperature
What you get with the Pair O Docs® storage test protocol
Test documentation:
A summary of the results from each container corrosion examination
Statistical lifetime modeling of container service lifetime when pitting corrosion occurs
Graphs of container weight loss as a function of time for both static and dynamic weight loss measurements
Graphs of container pressure as a function of time
A final written report summarizing the findings from the storage test along with recommendations
Generation of a confidential company corrosion data base that is updated with each subsequent storage test
We could also integrate results from Pair O Docs® electrochemical corrosion tests with corresponding storage test data
Our standard protocol does not include a) samples for product efficacy testing, b) evaluation of aerosol spray patterns or particle size distribution, c) measurement of spray rates, and d) storing containers above 100 oF (38 oC). We could add one or more of these procedures/parameters for additional cost.
